The route Offroad & Mountain Biking – Ullapool Hill and village loop starts and finishes here in Ullapool at our Ullapool Bike Hire Hut. Do the route (anti-clockwise) to West Rhidorroch estate, via Braes of Ullapool, Ullapool Hill path towards Loch Achall and back via the quarry road.

Description
This route starts and finishes here in Ullapool. Do the route (anti-clockwise) via Braes of Ullapool and return via the quarry road.
Although with a steep climbs from Ullapool to Braes of Ullapool, this is soon forgotten with spectacular views, especially of Ben More Coigach and the Summer Isles.
Half-way along the single track path you could leave the bikes at a bench and ascent the last bit to Ullapool Hill for a 360° degrees view around the local area.
The decent to Loch Achall is awesome fun and offers a good challenge.
After this, you are rewarded with a nice cruise through the estate, along the quarry, with views of Beinn Gobhlach as you take the final few miles in through the quarry and back to Ullapool.
The route then takes you on a lovely journey through the village, along the river, peninsula and finally over the campsite and the point back to our Ullapool Bike Hire Hut.
This is route is done best with a Mountain Bike.
